Little Lion!

Finally, I snuck up on Alexi while he was mesmerized by a kid's show (they were playing with a ball and that's what caught his attention) and I changed him into his Halloween costume. And he proceeded to show us what a baby lion does in the course of his day. He hangs out with his giraffe friend.
He talks on the phone with his friends.

He colors in his coloring book.
He uses the remote control.

He reads his book (upside down).He uses his tambourine to stand on and look through his toy box.

Halloween is just around the corner!

Doesn't Theodore just look thrilled to have his photo taken? Doesn't his face just say "Thank you so much for dressing me up as a PEA in a pod?"

Yes, we adults do this for our own amusement it's true - but he is just SO CUTE!!! How could we not?

Now that Alexi is a little bit older one of his favorite things to do is sit in your lap and color. It's very sweet.

Baptism - Part II

This little girl is my cousin's oldest baby. Kiara is a girl after my own heart because during the luncheon she was running around with a Fisher Price kiddie camera snapping photos of everyone. I asked if I could take photos of her later and she was an excellent and willing model. I love the color of her eyes.

Mitch Gets Baptized!

Last weekend we had the pleasure of attending Mitch's baptism.
This cutie is his sister Alexis.When I asked to take a photo she obliged by "posing" with a rock and saying "cheese"!
This is what I got when I asked to try it again but without the rock this time. I know what you are thinking "Can her eyes be any bigger?"

But to really capture her having fun nothing beat having her jump up and down on her bed.

Magical leaf

I know that this looks like a magic leaf suspended in the air. But if you look closely you can see the spider's web thread on the upper left. It did look cool to walk through the forest and see this maple leaf floating in the air. Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians!

Meeting Family

I could not decide which looked better - so I published both the color and black and white(above & below).

We had the pleasure of meeting some long lost cousins. These cute and happy kids are Sama and George, Alexi's third cousins. We had a great time hanging out and hope we can see each other again in the future.

Nothing makes Alexi happier than "helping out" in this case watering.

Not only does Alexi have to carry Snoopy around with him, now it's Snoopy AND Elmo. And he still has one hand free to explore!

Red, Red Wall

I have started to scope out NEW places to take photos. I've been eyeing this red wall since June and finally got around to taking photos there. I love how Alexi had to have his Snoopy with him. And I love the portrait of hubby - his shirt was the perfect color.
