Mini Photography Sessions!!!!!!

On October 13, 2007 I will be holding Mini Photography Sessions at the cute and hip children's boutique Little Lords Little Ladies at 5886 Wyandotte East. Sessions will last 15 minutes for 25.00 and come with an on-line private gallery for you to choose your photos. You may buy the entire session, ten 5"x7" prints mounted in an album for 125.00 and receive a complimentary "brag book" (example in store). Or buy A La Carte, 5x7s start at 25.00 (see Investment at www.eleniphotography.com) You can also turn any photograph into a holiday card. Holiday cards are available in watercolor or linen paper and come in packs of 25 with envelopes.
So come dressed in your favorite outfit or buy something cute to wear at the store.
This ia a great time to get some quick portraits of your children for the fall and Holiday season.

Newborn

This dear sweet newborn was only ten days old! I caught her with her eyes closed only once and the rest of the time she was so super sweet and alert. She seems to be saying "Who are you lady? Why are you here?" Welcome to the world!

Yes, we love birds.

Yes, I have to confess that my hubby and I love bird watching so we couldn't miss the Hawk Festival at Holiday Beach this year. It really was perfect weather - warm but not hot.
I loved this owl's eyes. Turns out that photographing birds is like photographing children - focus on the eyes and be ready cause they move quick!


The two birds that we got to see close up were the red-tailed hawk (above) and the great horned owl.

Alexi was super into it - especially seeing the birds get released. (The same red-tailed hawk flew into a nearby tree upon his release.) We, of course were thrilled that Alexi likes birds too.

The fun continued as we made our way onto the beach for our picnic lunch.

I spent some time with a cute little boy last weekend. Who, in the beginning, didn't quite know what to make of me and my camera. So I got the wide-eyed stare. (Which I love by the way.) And soon enough I was getting the smiles.
