That's right - my little nephew is turning one. So, I went over and captured him running around in the house and outside. And doing some of his favorite things, like cooking with his mama.

My baby is showing off his new do. While watching me mousse my hair I asked him if he wanted me to mousse his hair and he enthusiastically nodded yes. So here is Alexi with his mohawk and panda and beloved "bussssss" Which is how he says bus. We think he likes busses just because he likes SAYING the word bus.
I don't know about everyone else BUT this is how we use Q-tips in our home!
It all started with the cutest sign at an elementary school. Mommy and daughter loved it and went along with me.
Her son on the other hand was not too pleased. (It made me think of what I have to look forward to when Alexi is older:)) And then it continued into all these different candid moments that I am so happy I got!
Future model perhaps???

Dear friends came to visit from Montreal a few weeks ago and I had the pleasure of photographing their children. For some reason I feel that their little girl has an "Old World/European" look to her. So, I played it up by making the photos look like antiques. While I love the crisp clean lines of the "normal" photos I think the antiques look pretty cool too. Let me know what you think. Baby's oldest sister goes to a high school that specializes in the Arts. She sang Scarborough Fair BEAUTIFULLY and I could have listened to her all day! I LOVE the light here.

I the opportunity to photograph this sweet two month old baby recently. He was a very good sport at being put in a variety of places. He also has 4 older siblings so you know he is well loved and spoiled. I was lucky as I got to photograph everyone - more photos to follow.
