Here Nouna, Nouno and Theodore are waiting for the immersion.

These two photos were difficult for me because as his aunt he is looking me right in the eyes and pleading with me to come and rescue him.
Finally the "dunk" into the baptismal font.

And here's the boy getting baptized Theodore (during happy times).
Here he is right before the ceremony, probably figuring out that something is about to happen.

More to come....
In a Greek Orthodox wedding the Koumbara also exchanges the crowns on the couple.
She walks around with the couple.
Finally man and wife!
People have been asking about Alexi and his "walk-down-the-aisle-as-ringboy". Well, he didn't do it, no matter what we offered as a bribe. So he hung out with his daddy.
And he hung out at the very back of the aisle where he was rooting for Katerina. (We just wanted to let you know ;-)
Theodore was expressing too much joy so he got banished to the baby room of the church, where he enjoyed observing the wedding.
I love the colors of the bouquet! Especially the lime green.
The bride's "something borrowed and blue" was a handkerchief that belonged to her late grandfather - nice touch.
Good looking momma and her 2 daughters.
The koumbara has the honor of exchanging the rings - among other things.
There were 2 flowergirls and one junior bridesmaid - all so cute and taking their job so seriously.
And their job was tiring at times as you can see!

A fun time was had by all at our cousin Katerina's wedding on 7-7-7!! (Who did NOT have a wedding to go to on that fine date?)
