New Cover Girl

People have been commenting on the changes over at www.eleniphotography.com and of course my new cover girl gets noticed. On the website she is all big eyes and serious and here she is all smiles. So, I thought it'd be nice to show another side of her!

Sweetly Composed

How serene is this little girl? She was very sweet and sat down with no direction from me. This is why i love natural photography.

Cute Preteen

This girl was the cutest preteen (called a tween? I believe?) She looks great in black and white and color!

Tough Choices

Many a time I am faced with tough choices such as this one. I love all 4 of these photographs but which 2 make the best STORYBOARD? Comment below and help me please. Also, have I mentioned how much I LOVE weeping willow trees? We were right underneath it and it felt like we were under a gorgeous green tent. My family and I are headed right back to this spot to have a picnic on our next "day off".

CHUB-A-LUB!

My little boy Maximos was kind enough to put up with me and his tata stuffing him into a basket and putting him by this wonderful green area in the back yard. Yes, he really is this pudgy. Yes, that really is cellulite on his thighs. Yes, he really is this happy!

Isn't it nice that Theodore ALLOWS his mom to put a tie on him? And of course, can any boy go anywhere without his cars?

Tiny Little Newborn

This tiny little newborn girl was super awake for almost her entire session, which really threw us for a loop because her mom tells me that this is the first time she's ever been awake for so long, that they've had so much trouble trying to keep her up in order to eat. Well, she knew that I was there and she kept her eyes on me the whole time. Well, ALMOST the whole time. She slipped and fell asleep for a few brief moments and that's when the most peaceful and serene shots were taken - see below - I'm sure you'll agree. (The last one I love because the light is shining on her.)"

Newborn Baby Boy!

This 7 lb 15 oz baby boy was only 10 hours old when this photograph was taken. Happy Birth Day little guy!

Baptism!

Here's our little guy getting baptized! He was not a happy camper at all. His godmother was using his pacifier as a plug by the end. Then he was so tired out he feel asleep for a long time. He slept through the entire reception. The last photo is when he finally woke up.

Ballerina

This little ballerina was very sweet and a pleasure to photograph. Mom & Dad are going to have a real hard time picking photos because they are ALL fantastic!

New Bambino has just arrived!

This little baby made her debut May 26 and weighs 6lbs 3 oz. She is just hours old in this photo - can't you just FEEL the freshness?

My Little Guy

My little guy is not so little any more. He can hold his head up by himself, last night he rolled over on his own, he is sucking his thumb full force and is absolutely fascinated by his brother and cousin running around.

We've been having some wonderful spring weather. And what does Mr. Alexi love to do? Go to the park. In the morning, in the afternoon and inbetween.

Down on the Farm

We were invited for a visit out in the country - and boy do we love it out there. It's peaceful and beautiful and so green. We saw these cute horses who seemed to be posing and nuzzling just for me. And Alexi and I walked into this old barn that had the most amazing gorgeous light. Too bad my subject wasn't wearing better colored clothing, and I should have nixed the hat. But i have a feeling we may be invited back and I will come more prepared. The last photo was given a "vintage treatment", that's why it looks a little different.

I want to say that when I saw him playing with it from this angle I couldn't resist and ran to grab my camera- I love my cutie pie's face behind all that color.

I've been photographing a lot of siblings lately and I love observing the sibling "relationship." These two brothers are sweethearts and got along quite well during their photo shoot. I love their "together" shot.

As usual the eyes say it all for both of them.

These two sisters were so much fun to photograph. Older sis is really into modeling and I think you can tell. Little sis was a real cutie too. These three photographs are goign to be posters in the new Little LordsLittle Ladies boutique which is scheduled to open April 1st.

These two sisters were excellent models and these photographs will be displayed in the NEW Little Lords Little Ladies boutique when it opens up April 1st.

Baby Model

This little cutie pie is actually a baby model (chosen by me) and one or two of these photographs will grace the interior of the NEW Little Lords Little Ladies children's boutique. She's modelling the latest for babies called BABY LEGS - these cute legwarmers for babies come in a variety of colors and patterns. In her hair she is wearing the No Slippy Hair Clippy which actually has thin magnets, so no matter how fine baby's hair is the clip stays put. Alexi loves this hat I picked out for him at Little Lords Little Ladies children's boutique on Wyandotte in Windsor. The store is getting ready to move 3 doors down by April 1st.
