We went to the city of Soldotna where we visited with friends who have a restaurant. The salmon is delivered straight out of the river in this huge case of ice. It looks ugly, and surprisingly enough the tongue has holes in it off to the sides, but it tasted SO GOOD!

See the seagulls flying around in the above photograph with St. Augustine (a snow-covered active volcano?) in the background?
The bald eagle on the log is actually EATING a seagull. I was scared to go closer AND Alexi started crying because he wanted to be with me and that in turn made Theodore cry.
