Another Awesome Family!

I was very excited when the mom of this close-knit, happy family contacted me as they were one of my very first clients ever in 2007. (to see that first session click HERE.)I was pregnant with my second and these four kids were so open & friendly. Fast-forward to the present and they are still a wonderful, handsome family - just a little bit older!  This photo session celebrates the fact that the oldest brother is in his Senior year of high school and will soon be headed off to carve out his own path in the world. I am one lucky photographer!

Why? Because I have gorgeous families to photograph (such as this one) and they are super cool and laid back and let me do "my thing" and the result is awesome photographs for them. As an example of how laid back I am for the first time (and probably the last (hee! hee! ;-)) I let the oldest boy, who has started Grade 3 this year take a photo with my camera! Classic Black and White

I know that color photographs are all the "rage" now but as I process and edit the photographs from this session and lovingly convert each one into true black and white I can help but think 'You can't beat a classic black and white photograph - it really lets a person's soul shine through.'
