I love boys!

Now I know that my type of photography is "different" and it allows kids to run wild - which I love and which sometimes has moms a little worried that their kids are not "behaving" or acting "good" for the photographer. But have no fear - look at the shot below - can't you FEEL his soon-to-be4-years-old energy?

Dimpled Beauty!

This cutie had real fun while modelling for Little Lords Little Ladies. And I noticed that mom bought the dress she was modelling - good move mom - she looks great in it.

This little 20 month old was super lively, energetic and fun to be around. And as you can tell from the close up she has one more tooth to come in and she's all done - yeah!

Little Lords Little Ladies Fall Models - Sneak Peek

This past Saturday I photographed some really awesome children wearing Fall/ Winter clothing from Windsor's only Children's Boutique - Little Lords and Little Ladies. This lovely 4.5 year old was the first model up. How cute is she with her little hand in her back pocket? Thanks also goes out to her big sister for making her feel comfortable in front of the camera. The rest of the models will soon follow.
P.S. My interview did finally air on the A-Channel on Friday August 15! Yeah! My good friend John taped it (Thanks!) and I will post it here or on my website and whoever missed it the first time can watch it.

Words can't describe how excited I am to be on The Morning Show on the A Channel with the lovely Miss Houida as the hostess! Tune in this Friday, August 15, 2008 between 7am-9am to hear my top photographing tips for parents and to see some of my artwork and what Eleni Photography is offering clients this fall. Below is a sneak peek of my models on the day the interview took place. The wonderful hostess Houida and 2 of the models at the END of the photo shoot.

I love the mischievious look my model is giving here. And her eyelashes are REALLY that long.

This little guy is mine, drool and all.
I love the halo of golden light that is wrapped around her hair.

Mr. Theo is sporting his new haircut and very into picking up everything off the ground.

New Favorite Pic

This is now my new favorite picture of the boys together. Our hotel room in Toronto was very nice and full of light as it had huge big windows. The next photo is a close second.
This photo make me laugh because we always put Maximos on top of Alexi at bedtime to say goodnight and it makes both of them crack up.

And here is what a very talented person did. He has the small picture (upper left) that he uses as a guide and he recreated it on the sidewalk! I thought it was a piece of canvas and felt that it was a shame that all his work would get washed away.

Road Trip

Our short little visit to the city of Toronto made our Alexi quite happy because he got to ride the "train" - a.k.a. the subway. And he loved it so much even though it was hot! hot! hot! and twice the work with Maximos' stroller. Why you ask? Well the elevators aren't exactly located nearby and they don't exactly work fast. Sometimes I thought we could have walked on the street faster.

And just because I'm a "camera-geek" having fun at night in the big city as only a parent can while stuck-in-the-hotel-with-two-kiddies-sleeping... I played with the exposure on this one and made the car lights streak. Cool eh?

Here's my oldest with more Cars "stuff"! Note" even the pyjamas are "Cars". And we can't leave out beloved Snoopy.

Guess Who?

Yes, it's my oldest! He is in LOVE with Cars. Anything to do with Cars. We've seen the movie too many times to count, we know all the names of all the characters. And the other day when we were at the market every time I'd buy something I'd give him the change to put in his pocket and every time I would catch glimpses of his Cars underwear peeking out over the top of his jeans - so when we got home I had to take a picture. And he willingly and happily obliged his momma.

Freckles Galore!

This girl has 2 features that I absolutely adore - freckles AND red hair! Perhaps because I have neither I just love them.

Red-Head Cutie Pie Alert Ahead!

How cute can this little red-head be? His clothes match his hair, even his beloved teddy bear matches his hair. He was shy for about ... 2 seconds and then he was off talking about everything and getting into everything. A poster of this boy (plus 2 other posters) are hanging in Starbucks in Devonshire Mall for those who want to see my work up close and personal.

Love the Hair

I love how her hair is being blown up in wisps. And this is the wind doing this - no fans when you are on-location natural light photographer!

New Cover Girl

People have been commenting on the changes over at www.eleniphotography.com and of course my new cover girl gets noticed. On the website she is all big eyes and serious and here she is all smiles. So, I thought it'd be nice to show another side of her!

Sweetly Composed

How serene is this little girl? She was very sweet and sat down with no direction from me. This is why i love natural photography.

Cute Preteen

This girl was the cutest preteen (called a tween? I believe?) She looks great in black and white and color!

Tough Choices

Many a time I am faced with tough choices such as this one. I love all 4 of these photographs but which 2 make the best STORYBOARD? Comment below and help me please. Also, have I mentioned how much I LOVE weeping willow trees? We were right underneath it and it felt like we were under a gorgeous green tent. My family and I are headed right back to this spot to have a picnic on our next "day off".

CHUB-A-LUB!

My little boy Maximos was kind enough to put up with me and his tata stuffing him into a basket and putting him by this wonderful green area in the back yard. Yes, he really is this pudgy. Yes, that really is cellulite on his thighs. Yes, he really is this happy!
