Classic Black and White

I know that color photographs are all the "rage" now but as I process and edit the photographs from this session and lovingly convert each one into true black and white I can help but think 'You can't beat a classic black and white photograph - it really lets a person's soul shine through.'

Sweet Little Boy

I find photographing on-location exciting, as I never know what I'm going to find but inspiration is everywhere for me! Especially in nature. I love the soulful look of this little girl. Staycation photographs!

Our day trips involve the car and the boys are pretty good about short trips.  They liked the beeping and flashing buzzer telling us that our food was ready.  Self portrait with my oldest (I love my wide angle lens!) And blueberry picking, where eating the blueberries and catching ladybugs was more fun then picking berries to take home. And the minute we got home I whipped up these Ina Garten Peach and Blueberry Crumbles and I couldn't resist taking some pics of those. They were so delicious. This Five-and-a-half month old baby . . .

                                                                                  

was such a sweetie!

He is also handsome in his cool hat! And he was mesmorized by the geese that would come closer when he made his cute little baby sounds. Mom and grandma found a very cool park for his photo shoot and these geese were super tame - no hissing at all from them.

He is a wise old soul as this photograph proves.

And he has grandma wrapped around his finger - just look at the joy on both their faces.
